Weddings At The Historic Cottage
San Clemente State Beach’s The Historic Cottage is available and used for special events, most notably weddings and wedding receptions. The Historic Cottage is run by the California Department of Parks & Recreation. When it comes to The Historic Cottage at San Clemente State Beach, the primary goal of the Parks Department is to present to the public the unique architecture and lifestyle of San Clemente in the 1930’s. The Parks Department puts policies in place to both offer The Historic Cottage for use & enjoyment by park visitors, while still ensuring the integrity of this historic and beautiful location.

The Historic Cottage Event Guidelines
2015-2016 Fees & Guidelines
- All events, receptions, and ceremonies take place on the patio.
- Available 2:00pm-10:00pm year round
- Maximum of 150 guests
- $2,500.00 Monday through Thursday
- $3800.00 on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
All permits for use of The Historic Cottage are taken on a 1st come, 1st serve basis, and are accepted up to 1 year in advance. In order to hold The Historic Cottage, the Parks Department requires a non-refundable $500.00 deposit. If alcohol will be served, a $500.00 alcohol permit is required. Liability Insurance is required, as well. For those interested, additional information on appointments & available dates can be obtained by calling the Parks Department at 949-366-8589.
