The Newland Barn is located directly behind the Newland House Museum on Beach Blvd & Adams Ave in Huntington Beach California. When the Newland Barn is rented for Weddings, Parties, and other Celebrations, the enclosed lawn is included, but the Museum itself cannot be rented out. Because the Newland Barn is a multi use venue, the Museum may have other events scheduled during Newland Barn rentals.

Reservations

Reservations for the Newland Barn are accepted up to one year before your desired event date. Because of the high demand to rent out the Newland Barn, a lottery system is used to determine which group will be allowed to make the reservation. Reservations may not be made by phone, and there is no waiting list. Each morning at 8:15am, the lottery is held to decide which group will get the desired date. The lottery is held at the Community Services Department on the fifth floor of the HB Civic Center. A representative from each group will be given a number, and the group with the lowest number will win & receive the reservation. The necessary paperwork will be completed by the person who won the lottery. Full payment (Insurance, Deposit, & Rental Fee) is due at the time the reservation is won and made. Mastercard, Visa, Discover, checks, and cash are all acceptable forms of payment.
