Wedding poems are often added to make the wedding program more interesting and appealing to your guests. Wedding programs typically have a list of the events, in the order that they are to take place, and where they take place.
The program helps your guests follow the ceremony. You don’t need to have a program, but most people find that the program becomes a highly valued keepsake for guests, for you, and someday, perhaps, your children or grandchildren.
Most wedding programs include the following elements:
Front Cover
Names of the bride and groom
Wedding date and location

(These items can be placed in sequence so guests can follow along with the ceremony.)
- The wedding music used before, during and after the ceremony
- Wedding poems read during the ceremony

- Wedding vows, if you each have written your own. Or if you share in the reading of common vows.
